Nature Activities & Sports

Thanks to initiatives by its hotels and local communities, Halkidiki has now developed a host of alternative forms of tourism, including sea sports, golf, mountain-biking, horse-riding, bird-watching, spas, hiking, agro-tourism, faith tourism and sports. There is a truly unlimited choice of activities for those who love to keep busy.

In such a beautiful setting, combining the blue of the sea with the lush green of the mountains, it is only natural that a whole host of sports and other outdoor activities have been developed. There is plenty to do for people of all ages, for regular athletes and those who wish to use their vacation to try something new, something that may become a regular pastime when they get home. Halkidiki has a huge range of sports to try, from sailing, windsurfing and water-skiing to horse-riding, golf and diving.
