Kassandra – Bay of Toroni
There is a cruise of the Bay of Toroni which starts from Paliouri: the Menia Maria departs at 09.30 and stops for ninety minutes at Toroni so passengers can swim in the beautiful turquoise waters. Lunch is served on the boat and you then sail off to Neos Marmaras. Here there is an hour’s stop before you move on to the little island of Kelyfos for an hour and then return to Paliouri at 17.00.
There is also an evening sailing, known as the sunset cruise (starting in July), which departs at 19.00 and does a cruise around the Bay of Toroni, ending at the island of Kelyfos. It takes an hour to get to the island, where you anchor for two hours, enjoying the sunset, before returning to Paliouri at around 23.00, after dinner and dancing to the sounds of live Greek music (tel. 23750 31522).

Athos – Tour of Mt. Athos
The 300 seats’ ship Captain Fotis departs once up to twice a day from Ouranoupolis port, right next to the “gates” of Holy Mount Athos, according to demand. Departure times are 10:30 and 13:45 (second cruise on the same day) and the cruise lasts ca. 3 hours.
